Jenny McCarthy is a textile & fashion designer/maker.

She has been sewing since she was 15 years old and has various textile technical and design qualifications including:

An NVQ in fashion Design

A Diploma in pattern cutting

An advanced construction certificate from the London School of Fashion. 

Jenny uses sustainable fabrics where possible.  She loves to upcycle and rework vintage unworn wedding dresses destined for landfill into modern, wearable pieces.  

She undertakes commissions from individuals and organisations such as museums & historic houses.  She also regularly collaborates with artists to design and create textile pieces with them.
